The Edge Of Brooklyn, with Ravi Coltrane is
a TV co-production with City Lights Media, Fred Riedel, and Context that
features the greatest players, composers and artists in the international
downtown music scene, performing in a casual live audience setting; with host
Ravi Coltrane. A half-hour pilot was produced with performers Butch
Morris and Jump Orchestra, Ravi Coltrane Quartet, Imani Coppola,
Uri Caine, Ralph Alessi, and performance artist Claude Wampler
Context co-produced with artist Robbie McCauley two performance
documents: her Bessie Award-winning play, Sally's Rape, from a performance at
Penumbra Theatre in St. Paul; and Love And Race In The United States, edited
together from four performances at Dance Theater Workshop in NYC. Both are
available on DVD and VHS from our Products page |
